What Camp Should Be!
Simpson College Volleyball is committed to providing the best possible team camp experience for players and coaches attending camp.  Historically among the first volleyball team camps in Iowa, Simpson team camps continue to strive for a high quality, preseason experience for your volleyball team.  Simpson team camps provide an outstanding opportunity for players and coaches in preparing for the upcoming season. Simpson’s coaching staff is able to closely relate to the challenges of today’s competitive high school programs – collectively, Simpson’s coaches have more than twenty years of high school volleyball coaching experience.

Two varsity team camps are scheduled.  Each camp includes the lots of competitive team play, team clinics and practice sessions, skills contests, and team building. Team camp schedules are fine-tuned each year to provide exposure to new volleyball ideas, skills and strategies.  A team tournament is included with the provision of qualified match officials.

General Schedule

Team camp meals:
For resident campers, all meals are included in the camp fees. 

For commuter teams, an all-camp lunch and dinner are included - on Day 1. 
Commuter teams are responsible for making their own meal arrangements on Day 2 of camp. 
For an additional fee, coaches may request on-campus lunch reservations for teams for day 2.

Housing options:
On-campus housing is available for teams during the Simpson College Team Camps. Players and coaches are housed in Simpson College air conditioned, residence halls.  Overnight campers should bring their own bedding, pillows, and towels. For commuter teams, there are several hotels available in Indianola and Des Moines.  Many provide a Simpson College discount.  A hotel listing is available upon request.

Registration:
Coaches should contact Barb Overton, Camp Coordinator, to hold a spot in the team camp.  The team reservation form and payment of the $50 team fee are required to guarantee the team camp reservation.  Online team registration is an option; coaches may submit the team fee by credit card or mail a check payment. Individual players must register through the team coach or a team representative.  Payment of individual fees may be made by check payable to Simpson College or cash.  Online registration is an option for team camp.  Approval from your high school coach should be given to you for registration in Simpson Team Camps.

All participants are required to complete the individual player registration form and waiver.  Team camp coaches are responsible for submitting all forms to the camp coordinator prior to the start of team camp.

When the team registration form, team fee, and individual registration forms and payments are received prior to July 15, 2013, a $50 discount for the team will be given.

Confirmation:
Coaches/team representatives will receive a camp confirmation and team roster form when the team registration form and team fee are submitted.

Camp schedules will be provided in late July following the registration deadline.
